The Kerjalon Hostel is situated just next to Hotel Føroyar, in areas of natural beauty on a south facing hillside giving a panoramic and extraordinary view over the capital, Tórshavn, the isle of Nólsoy and the ocean. Kerjalon opened in April 1999.

Kerjalon meets international demands in regard to security, cleanliness, environment and service.
The rooms, the furnishing and the equipment of the hostel are arranged in such a manner that they ensure the best accommodation conditions, whether for small or large groups or for individuals of different ages. 

The hostel is open all year.

Rooms: 22 rooms. 2-, 4- and 6-bedded rooms giving room for 98 guests in total. The rooms are equipped with table, chairs and closet. Bed linen and towels can be rented at an affordable price.

Kitchen: Cooking facilites. Practically arranged kitchen next to the dining room. The kitchen is large and able to accommodate many visitors at once. Coffee makers, electric kettles, microwaves, refrigerator, dish washer and more. Pots, pans, cutlery, dishes are also available in the kitchen.

Toilet/shower: The showers are shared facilities and divided into ladies and gentlemen. Toilets are on both floors of the hostel.

Landry room: Possibility to wash your clothes. Pay-per-use washing machines, washbashin with hot water, table, iron and ironing table are available.
